Pet owners are the ones who can initiate messages and bookings with pet carers. Pet owners can view verified pet carer profiles in their neighbourhood and can message and book pet carers in for services via the Floofers platform.

Getting bookings can depend on many factors including the pet carer profile, demand for pet services at a particular time, budget, reviews, and preferences (e.g. fenced backyard). Please view our guide on creating an outstanding pet carer profile here.

Once a pet owner has contacted a pet carer, the pet carer will be notified via text (for messages) and email and text (for bookings).

We will be implementing a feature where pet owners can write a job advertisement and pet carers can reply directly to the advertisement in the future.
