Yes, for simple and routine vet visits you may ask your pet sitter if they can take your pet to the vet for you. This is of course at the discretion of the pet sitter and provided they have their own transport. This may include yearly vaccinations, routine check-ups, or picking up scripts. This will need to be discussed prior to booking and the pet sitter will need to know all the details before the appointment to give the vet an accurate rundown of the pet's health.
โ
All vet appointments must be funded by the pet owner either in advance or by calling the vet and leaving their card details to charge. The pet sitter may also request a fee for this vet service including transport costs.
โ
Note: In the case of an emergency, the pet sitter will need to take the pet to the vet regardless if this has been discussed and if the payment method hasn't been set up.
